i thought the Holliday/Sanchez duet was horrendous. i guess it is kind of a skill to screech and scream on pitch, but it doesn't appeal to me.
Jessica Sanchez has talent and her voice is a "powerful instrument", but she is a Stepford Maria/Whitney. and for my money we don't need another one of them either.
Phillip auditioned, got put through, got voted for and won. that's ok with me.
