I was a little confused by the Kristen Wiig ending. Have they done that for other departing cast members? She was never a favorite of mine, I found many of her characters just plain annoying.

She was just too talented to stay. In addition to being a great actress, she is a writer, e.g., Bridesmaids. If she were just an actress she might have stayed. Like that annoying Fred Armisen!
