Just a heads-up guys,
Been thinking about doing some lessons via Skype. Living in a fairly isolated area of the world (Sth West corner of Western Australia), it seemed like a good way of connecting with some top-notch players.
I got in touch with Tele-picker Matt Rae about taking some lessons from him. After working out the time difference (12 hours) we met up via Skype. I've been recording the video lessons with a program called Evaer - it's great to go back over what we talked about in the lessons and work things thru. We've been working on open string runs and pedal steel bends so far; inspirational stuff.
If you're thinking about taking lessons via Skype I can't recommend Matt Rae enough. As well as being an amazing Tele-picker, he's very accommodating and knowledgeable teacher. Check him out (Matt Rae Trio) on YouTube or get details from his website
