I have been so close to pulling the trigger on a Xaviere guitar at times, but I always back off due to the bad reports I've read. With my luck, I'd get a total dog that needed $300 worth of work to get right. For that $$, I could buy a really nice Squier or a good Epiphone that played fine right out of the box. Then again...

At Xmas last year, I got a great deal on an Epiphone Custom Blackback from Musician's Friend. I'd played them in GC and loved the guitar. The one I got from MF was terrible, so I boxed it up and sent it right back two days later. I guess you never know what you're gonna get.

How is Guitar Fetish's return policy? I emailed them about this and never got an answer.
