I've had a 2 stroke LawnBoy for almost 20 years. It's getting hard to start and hard to keep running and is in generally rough shape. It's got a LOT of hours on it.
I think people missed the very key point here :
Your previous mower is probably one of the best machines ever invented
for home use.
Anything after that will be disappointing.
I personally believe that a commercial 2 stroke Lawn Boy w/ the oversized gravity gas tank is the best mower EVER.
Ha ! A magnesium deck LB weighs half as much
so the effort you save w/ the powered wheels is nil.
to get 20 yrs out of an Ariens or Toro
Here's your only hope :
You know those old guys in some neighborhoods who sell used mowers and usually have 10-15 for sale ?
Find one of those geezers w/ a LB and buy it.
