You'll be contributing to the income and profits of concessionaires and dealerships, therefore your money will at least partially go to the wages of the people who work for them and to the local and national coffers in taxes. Obviously that's a bit simplistic, but I'd say that on balance it's preferable to the economic stagnation resulting from nobody buying anything.
