I have my ideas , but I cannot speak for others .
It was retribution for an incident that had happened a few months previous in which I was wrongly targeted and had the audacity to stand my ground on . This was the incident where the off duty officer entered the police station and grabbed me by the throat and threatened to beat answers out of me after I had been read my rights and indicated that I wished to remain silent . After this thing was over , I took off on my GS550 Suzuki for a month long ride . The incident happened within days of my return .
Stuff like this has been a part of my life for quite some time . No wonder I love the blues . I've lived them .
People with wrong ideas and a badge can be a nasty thing if the anger is directed towards you .
By the way , the incident that led up to the threat in the police station was when I chose to walk to a local pool dance along with a friend because he was totally drunk and for whatever reason , he tended to listen to me even when drunk . I was totally sober .
We did nothing that over 100 other people , mostly kids had done and were doing . That was walking across the park to the pool .
