There's nothing to wonder at....crap entertainment is just that. I can remember when Harry Potter books were first big and people were saying, "Isn't it great! It's getting people [not just kids] to read!" I disagreed. Reading bad literature is actually WORSE than watching bad TV....it's harder on the eyes.
