Those are gorgeous and I miss the PRS and G&L dealer in my town. People wanted just Fender/Gibson/Ibanez/Tama and the big brands. I don't care really if top on electric guitar is thin veneer or larger piece of maple. It's only when it's a full hollowbody with solid spruce top over laminated spruce do I care (or for steel string dreadnaughts or nylon string classicals). At the end of the day on an electric or semi-hollowbody, nobody would be able to tell (in sound) the difference between thin veneer and thicker maple top.
