I hope I can meet some of you to chat Teles! I was able to bring guitars but had to leave my amps behind because of a combination of the voltage thing, lack of space, and living in a flat. So my '66 Deluxe Reverb, a Super Champ, and a pair of late '50s Princetons are in storage. Boo major Hoo!
On the other hand I can barely play at beginner level, so the neighbors will be happy.
I'll take some pics of the neighborhood. I'm over in an area next to the south end of Tower Bridge.
And yeah, I've already got lots of strange looks asking clerks for denim pants until a relative here explained it to me. Boy, those would have really chafed.
Luckily I've got a friend here who explains things like "it's all gone pear-shaped" while I explain what it means to give someone "the stink eye."
