I went to home depot tonight, and got some 2" pipe to use as rails on a sheet of 3/4" MDF with holes drilled inside the perimeter of my typical bodies. There are a few open holes just behind the jig thingie, so that the vacuum doesn't struggle and explode. The thing has 3/8" dowels protruding from the bottom, that line up with holes on the down draft table, so it all sits in place. I tested it on a template, and it stuck to the thing tight enough that I could barely peel it off :)

What did you use to attach the PVC pipe? And are you just using a shop vac?
