That's why I suggested pulling 2 tubes...that automatically drops the output by half. Plus side is you still have a Twin if you ever fell like selling (or need the horses). Don't forget, you don't have to use the full output. I did suggest Twin, as they are easier to find (at least in my part of the world).
Might be worthwhile looking out for a loadbox to drop output as well...cuts power to the speaker in fixed ratios...you can mount that in the back of the amp (seen this done lots of times, really.)
Either way works, and achieves the same result - mega sound, mega cool vibe - low load out factor...sounds like a win-win-win deal
