I really enjoyed 'In The City' by 'The Jam', which I discovered earlier this year. Not sure what you're looking for, but this is pretty raw, pretty good rock n' roll imho, and it was new to me (I've had heard some of their later stuff and wasn't aware that these guys rocked pretty hard early on, so this was a surprise).
Social Distortion's a really good band, too. They have a few radio hits that you've probably heard, but they have a couple/three really great albums in this kind of hard rock/country vein. Check out their self titled album and Somewhere Between Heavan and Hell. I liked those the best.
