Mayer is a brilliant creator, but his memory and recall seem to confuse more things than clarify. I think his pedals are generally very, very good. I don't always trust what he says though. He seems to paint a picture where Hendrix couldn't make a move without Mayer being somewhere in tow. I'm sure the facts lie somewhere in the middle.
