interesting, I've loved the twang king and tone zone pickups since I installed them on my American standard telecaster in '03, higher output then the stock pups...both dimarzios scream with gain or distortion..with a clean sound the tones are sweet, always avoid that ice pick thing mentioned above...but cascading shimmering icicle tones are nice....
