You need to change it up right away! Dont mess with Fender or Squier- they are all lawyered up. This happened to my cousin's roommate. Showed up at his apartment at 11:20 PM asking to see his guitar because they read on a forum that he was misrepresenting their product. A forum JUST LIKE THIS ONE! They monitor these posts, you know. NOVA isnt such a big place, either. Hide your gear, at the least.
