I don't bow hunt but I've almost bagged a few bow hunters !
On the Dalton Hiway when the caribou herd moves through some of the bow hunters drive along looking for a close shot. You can't drive anything on the tundra.
Well that's all fine and dandy but thay see one thay stop. Right infront of a truck with 47 tons of rock in the trailer. Or in my case 75 tons of rock in the trailer. Up hill down hill on a curve where ever.
Thank God no one got killed ! There was some close calls that summer.
I will tell you this. In if a guy stoped in front of me with an on coming car I would have run the hunters car over. I'm sorry but I didn't go up there to hit the tundra and get myself killed. To safe an idiot.
Sorry about the rant as hunters go bow hunters are 99% of the time the true sports man. I just saw the 1% that were lazy road hunting jerks.
