Ok, I'll take a stab. Beck's guitar acrobatics are truly out of this world, but to my ears it can get tiring. Flash doesn't always equate to good taste. I'm a BB King fan, and he's not flashy at all, but tasteful all day long. I like Beck's flash, but in judicious amounts. Sometimes less is more and I think he overdoes it, but what the hell, it was still fun to watch.
