Hey, that's my guitar your talking about. Bought it from Chris last year.
My take on the paisley options:
- Japanese reissues are far from close, wrong colour, wrong pattern and one dimentional.
- Custom shop. Well that's just a Japanese reissue in drag......
- Tokai. Not bad acutually, probably the best out there, but they don't have Fender on the headstock.
- Crook. (this is going to annoy a few members here!) Only available pre aged, the image is fuzzy (well it is a scan), and again one dimentional. Rather have a Tokai myself as the 2 or 3 that I've had in my hands really didn't impress me that much (visually).
That's my take on it.
