Apogee Jam and Pocket Pod

Ok, I'm no pro guitarist but I thought I'd share a quick recording I did using my new Apogee Jam interface. Yes I know I'm not very good as a guitarist but the main point of my post is to show others how easy it is to record a quick song.

This is a slowed down version of Gary Moore's Empty Rooms. It's actually a bit harder to play it slower than it is at normal speed. Not sure why anyway...

Here is my setup:

Gibson Les Paul Traditional Plus into my Line 6 Pocket Pod (set on the factory "Sweetchildofmine" setting, into the Apogee Jam, into my Mac, run on Garageband.

I simply took a backing track and played against it. I didn't do multiple takes or re-records. I had the entire thing done in less than 15 minutes from unpacking the Apogee to the finished recording. It's dead easy! I can't wait to mess around and do some real stuff on it.
