So, it begins. been lurking around this forum for some time slowly collecting pieces to build a thinline.

To be honest, i am new to guitar, took some lessons 15 years ago and hated the teacher and until about 2 years ago i haven't picked one up. I purchased an acoustic and have been slowly learning a few chords..

I have quite a bit of woodworking experience and mostly build my own custom hifi speakers but have always wanted a thinline, so my journey begins, I will appreciate any advice or experience along the way.


I spent a small fortune on the wood, claro walnut top, walnut body and birdseye neck, I got the neck off ebay about a year ago. I started to glue the pieces together and as typical this project will probably take me many months to complete.
