Ragging on a company who owns the intellectual property and design rights for the bulk of your output, places you on thin legal ice. With one call to a suit, FMIC could put these guys out of business. If I were a small builder of Fender copies I would go about my business in dignified silence, rather than stoke up potential animosity.
