The nice thing about SessionDrummer in Sonar is that it can be triggered off by another track to change patterns on the fly. That and the loops by themselves are just midi whereas SessionDrummer is also a fairly sophisticated synthesizer with its own sound samples.

Can SessionDrummer be installed into ProTools as a VST?
SD loops are on my HD under Sonar , just wanted to move them to a more accessible location.

I gave the disk to another friend probably 2 years ago..

Agreed that SD is a nice little product but I have been using PT for 2 years now.I have EZ drummer but it is lacking in the "swing/Jazz" category .

Uhmm interesting, can SD be installed under Pro Tools ? Maybe..PT uses RTAS ( Real Time Audio Suite) plug-ins but I believe there is a converter.

I use EZ drummer now and then but SD has a nice swing set, that's the only reason I m going thru this exercise...I may just cave and get the REAL drummer to do the track or maybe write the drum track in Sonar with SD.
