Is that jimmy stick on the left flame maple? If it is, QUIT THAT!! You're making me so jealous - or should I say GREEN with envy. Flame here, flame there, flame everywhere. This build is really coming together nicely.

I read that Leo used pine to be economical, and the dings were coming back, so the salesmen convinced him to destroy all of the pine bodies and make them from poplar, alder, and later swamp ash. Like PEWEE Herman used to say, "Salesmen!!".

Retro is definitely where it's at. The NAMM show I see that Fender has 2 new amps that are all tube and look like 50's radios - Pawn Shop Specials - the Excalibur, and Greta. Old is new all over again.
