Jim Weider: 52 Tele into a 65 Deluxe Reverb
Best I've heard is Jim Weider using a real 1952 Tele into a souped up 1965 Deluxe Reverb. Probably the best Tele sound I've heard. Great player and a nice guy too.
My own fave: 1991 G&L ASAT and 1974 Deluxe Reverb.
