Esteban is certainly at least two things. He is certainly a highly talented musician. Very much so. He is also extremely narcissistic. His persona or the archetype that he brings forth is the hero/warrior that is so full of himself, it is embarassing and very evident. He said to have studied with Segovia but from all that I've read, he just has a book signed by Segovia "to Stephen that loves the guitar". Esteban is Spanish for Steven.
I think the trash that he cons the public into buying is shameful. I've been on forums where people were complaining that they were trying to send them back to QVC and getting the run-a-around........and laughter. I haven't read much good at all about them. I understand sentimental value though. Just be careful playing it. I've read that the frets on them (especially the earlier ones) were flat ass dangerous. Caveat Emptor.
