Hearing Danny Gatton about fifteen years ago definitely turned my world upside down and continues to inspire me to this day. In interviews, Gatton would often cite Breau as a primary inspiration and when you hear Breau's playing, you can understand why.

Recently, my local community radio station did a two-hour all-Breau show and it was just fantastic, featuring the recently rereleased Swingin' On A Seven String album in its entirety. (Remember when radio stations would play whole albums?) It's all classic country tunes, done Breau-style with lotsa typically jaw-dropping Buddy Emmons pedal steel. Strongly recommended purchase.
