Do you change the lyrics of popular tunes to worship songs
This was very popular from the late 1960s to the early 1980s. There was a Houston band, David and The Giants, that did a whole album of "converted" pop tunes... Blood Sweat and Tears' You Made Me So Very Happy was one. I remember a friend playing a worship version of Emerson Lake and Palmer's Lucky Man.
There are so many worship songs these days, what with 40 years of "contemporary Christian music" that this practice seems to have fallen out of favor.
