I tried a set for a while, then swapped them out for a set of Fender OV's to get the real-deal vintage tone.

They sounded fine, no real complaints at all. Dead silent when you aren't playing, absolutely no hum or RF interference. If I was still gigging in bars with a lot of neon signs around, I probably would have kept them.

Minor problems on installation- I had to enlarge the hole in the pick guard for the neck pickup very slightly, just a few minutes with sandpaper. The battery is a tight squeeze in the control cavity, took a few minutes of fiddling to get it in there.
