Finally got to really use my new Tascam DR-05 yesterday.

Was jamming with friend last evening and recorded our session. A real small (2.5 room) cabin with decent acoustics.

Buddy was playing his unbelievably sweet, totally original '65 Firebird through an old tube amp (can't remember the name) and I was twangin' along with my CV50 BSB through my BJr.

Pretty amazing the job this DR-05 did. We were surprised to find the recordings to be very close, if not spot on, to the sound in the cabin.

That with the ease of use, size & price makes this a very favorable review.
