Things have been crazy lately at the homestead.

The Cunetto arrived just as described in the auction and it was a '96 not a '97. The first thing that impressed me was the finish. Absolutely the best relic job I have ever seen. The Cunetto weighed in at an even 8 pounds, almost a full pound heavier than my '02, but it didn't feel heavy and was very balanced. The neck was not as thick as my '02 but I did like the 9.5 radius better. The 10k bridge pickup was the best part. Tele twang with attitude. I really struggled with making a great partscaster but ultimately I need to recoup my money for my upcoming wedding. Had I found the Cunetto prior to buying my '02 I would have looked no further (and saved myself some money). The finish, sound and playablity of the Cunetto is exceptional. Bottom line, the bigger neck on my '02 just feels right. Plus the finish is starting to wear through and it looks/feels great. If I could afford to keep both I would.
