Robert, interested and glad to see your views on the Neo Jensen. I have a 70's Mesia combo (Japanese 100 watt 12ax7 / 6L6 mk1 Boogie copy) which still has the original speaker. Sounds too middy and honky to me and have been looking seriously at the Neo. It sounds good on the Tone chart (I've posted that site in other threads too, very useful) similar to the C12R I have in an old tweed Gibson, PLUS it weighs about 8lb less than the current speaker. I've tried playing the Gibson through the Mesia speaker and it loses the tight bottom end and nice chime so I'm pretty sure this will work. Just got to save the £80 they cost over here!
