RIP Ted Greene.

That is a tragic loss. His original "Solo Guitar" album, recently reissued on CD (see pic) is simply mind-boggling. I've heard a number of guys (Joe Pass, Bucky Pizzarelli, Lenny Breau, Chet Atkins, etc.) play moving bass lines with chords and melodies, but at times Ted's stuff really sounds like two people playing at once. (And of course, he played it on a TELE...) :-) Plus there are the various books he published that made a valuable contribution to guitar education. Just an amazing talent. RIP TG. – CS
