You aren't selling a Duesenberg, and the originality of the paint
and hardware is directly tied to the $$ value of the item you are
selling, as in: refinished=half value! So the question is valid.
Whether you want to bother to accomodate such a request is, of
course, up to you. The "rock star" appeal you are counting on
will only have value to someone who likes George Lynch, and is
generally worth about 10% more than one owned by Joe Schmoe.
Now if it was Keith Richard's guitar.....
