tune_o_matic's for real

I bought a 1975 Tele (a Lefty) about 2 yrs ago, on E-bay from him. (Brown, walnut , ? mocha? I forget the correct colour name)

Not a custom like this , just a regular tele , but it's in that under the bed - time capsule condition. Nothing altered, original case.

At the time it was the most I ever paid for a guitar, but it's worth even more now. It's crazy (and I don't by guitars as an investment - I buy them becasue I love guitars) , but buying one of these things is a better investment than the stock market. (which to me is like finding out that drinking is actually good for you)

I don't know how or where he finds these things , but he does some how.

A far this model goes, (as with late model Tele Basses), In my opinon - the extra routing away of the wood and the need for wider longer pick guard to cover up all that ugly routing, just departs to much from the orignal "DNA" of the originals.

Having said that - it's a piece of history, that can't be denied.
