Am finding out that not all BJ's sound the same...

My BJ (a 1999) is in good shape, (no mods but I do have an Emi Lil' Texas Neo speaker, EHX Tubes) is definitely NOT as bright or has nearly as much Reverb as the new ones or even as much as the tweed model with the Jensen C-12N speaker my friend has...

I have gotten very used to my "warmer" toned BJ (still very clean) and when playing a newer BJ, I really have to back off on the Reverb (amost OFF), and crank the bass and middle to mitigate the inherent brightness/treble of the amp- not a bad thing to have that presence, just was not expecting that!
