What a great stage for the Discovery team! This was one of the most fun stages to watch - it's the first time I've literally been on the edge of my chair this year. This stage really created some separation and gave an indication as to who is going to be up for the challenge - some real surprises. I thought the handshake at the end of the stage was a nice touch - LA knew that Valverde and Mancebo were the glue that held the lead group together at the end.

This is a fun race!
