This problem was actualy caused by the neck sitting too high in the neck pocket.
I had to adjust the saddles all the way up to get a decent string height.
Just found a picture on my computer...
I tried adjusting the two srews to the same level - no chance.
As you can see, the left height screw in the circle was even adjusted lower than the right one
(normally resulting in the saddle tilting to the left), but with the immense force from the strings
and the pressure-point on the saddles being outside of the center, they just started to lift sideways.
I solved this problem by cutting the neck pocket a bit deeper - no need to set the saddles all the way up results in
a smaller break angle of the strings on the saddles and therefor less pressure on one side of the saddle.

Sorry, there will be no picts. I just received the answer from the seller about the thickness of the neck:
1,9 cm measured on the first fret (wich equals 0.748031").
Way too thin for my taste, so I have to pass on this one. :(
