Absolutely, and that's what I'm doing with mine that I just picked up for less than $300 about a month ago on Ebay. The neck feels incredible to me. I can't wait to get a Lollar P-90 in at the neck, and I just received my Harmonic Design S-90 for the bridge a day or 2 ago. Also recently received a vintage 3-saddle bridge and brass saddles. Now I've gotta order a switch from Stewmac, and then I'll be pretty much ready to start construction!
