I started this one about one and a half years ago... gathered parts and tools and worked on it very slowly.
I made the baritone neck from scratch. It was my first attempt at building a neck. I screwed up the fret job the first time, I couldn't get the radius right (12") so I had to order new (pre bent) fretwire. (in the picture, I added a 'standard' tele neck, just to compare the scale length)
The body is from a cheap Stagg tele copy. It's solid alder but the grain is not so beautiful. I plan to cover the body with tweed in the near future.
Bridge pickup is a Seymour Dunacan "hot" lipstick for strat. I mounted it on an elevator plate from a telecaster bridge pickup. Neck and middle are from Kent Armstrong. The middle pickup is wired to a mini switch. Bridge and neck pickups are connected to a 4 pole 5 way switch (neck / neck + bridge parallel / neck+ bridge series / neck + bridge series out of phase / bridge only)
And best of all: it really twangs. I'm kinda surprised that is it a bright guitar, even though it's tuned ADGCEA
