Nice build.

WRT Padauk, it's got a pretty good musical heritage. Used for the blocks (keys? sounders? the bits you hit) in concert xylophones, IIRC. Also used as a neck/body wood by Organic Guitars. Not as a fretboard though, but that may well be down to Organics design philosophy...
