Thank you Sir! I am as dumb as dog doodoo when it comes to doing computer stuff even though I use them all day every day as tools to run frequency analyzers, pulse systems etc but, when it comes to actually making them do something or change a setting etc. dumb as.
When I started it was all valves, then the first transistor came along about as big as your little finger in a tiny glass bottle painted black, we all knew they'd never amount to anything! Then intergrated circuits and thick films. I got out of the trade when stuff started coming through with complete circuits printed onto a plastic sheet and rolled up like a kebab and held together with a plastic paper clip with an edge connecter soldered into a mother board.
Now we are all dependant on this technology for everything, it would be a good time to invade a few countries. A few strategic magnetic pulse bombs in the stratosphere and everything shuts down. It won't effect valve stuff however, I might get my old job back!!
