WHAT MODEL STRAT WOULD YOU GUYS SUGGEST? The pickup selection stock from Fender is if-y and the quality is confusing (American have better fretwork etc).
The ones I like are these.
Vintage Player Strat MIM USA hardware TX pickups
Robert Cray Strat MIM best pickups
Jimmie Vaughan Strat MIM with all USA hardware
50's-60's Classic MIM great for the $$.
The only USA one I would consider would be the new Eric Johnson. I have owned 4 expensive Custom Shop Strats and found you can buy the 4 x's less expensive MIM models change the pickups and basicly have the same or better sound.
