Thanks Ben! I'm actually using Audacity right now, I gave up on ProTools, I've got the hang of most of it, but I'm still nit-picking. I gues I can put up with not being able to listen to what I'm playing...
But one thing I think I must be able to do is record a guitar part, and then record another over it while listening to the first one, I can multi lyer guitar tracks right now but I can't listen to my backing track while I record a lead part over it, which is infuriating!
