Now the trick is to capture the sounds that your ears hear. Do multiple takes, doubletrack, and pan things around in the stereo field. You'll have a blast.
Also, I don't know if Pro Tools comes with a guitar amp sim plugin, but you might want to try that too for basic purposes and silent recording. I'm having good luck with the Cakewalk one. Believable, maybe not, but workable for demo purposes.

Yeah I've been trying to get pro tools to work for about 20 minutes now silent, when I think I've figured something out it crashes my computer, so I'm going to try using some different software. :?
How can I listen to what I'm recording through the computer while i record it? Lol sorry for all the questions.
