The best soft cases are from InCase. Hands down. I own one.

Only problem is... they're more expensive than most hard cases even! At $199.

They use this soft/hard technology and got everything covered.

BUT, like most people on this topic, I would never use a soft case for my LP. I've already had one headstock repair. (not cos of the case.. it fell off the guitar stand)... but anyhow, getting it repaired sucks.

But the repair only cost me about $35. No refinish though.

The biggest problem about the design of the LP is the headstock angle. I honestly don't think that any soft case can adequetly protect it.

I use an SKB hard case for my LP. At about $90... I think it's worth it.
