I use Cakewalk Pyro. Often $24.95 on sale at CompUSA. Works just fine for recording LPs, and has built in noise and pop filters that really work. It has built in EQ and some other effects (in case you really want to reverb-up that old Hank Williams LP). It can also be used for ripping and burning CDs. It does MP3s in a variety of format, as well as WAVs. Not sure if it does WMA.

Only problem now is that my turntable completely died and I don't want to spend more than $50 to get a new one, since my ultimate goal is to get rid of all my LPs after burning the few I can't find on CD...
