Hee hee, here's a bit of history! I've just found these old monochrome photos from the 70's. The first is of me playing the Yamaha SG30 in The White Hart, Southall, West London around 1975/6 (dig the flares on that stage suit!). The amp is the very first Peavey Mace to have been imported into the UK. The other pic was taken a year or two later in the Lady Margaret, also in Southall, and the guitar is the beautiful cherry red SG175 with the abalone inlay.
I still have the SG30, which (as I said in my earlier post) I traded in for the SG175, bought back many years later, sold once more and bought back a second time!
Wish I could buy back my hair...
