Ive got a Nocaster relic myself and Ive went and place a Custom Shop twisted Tele pickup in the neck position with a modern wiring set up and Ive made it a better guitar .
I had a original Fender 1952 and this Nocaster is every bit as good as that guitar was and the 52 I sold it .
The twisted Tele pickup has given a great guitar a added dimension but to be honest Ive been playing my Gibson ES 335 50th Anniversary just about all the time for the last 2 years
