Here is a link with a picture of the guitar... it is a '73 Gibson SG-1. The guitar came equipped with a mini humbucker. This pup is not the original.

I took a quick resistance reading and got 8.4 ohms. I am going to solder up the cover and re-use it...
I am wondering if the lead can be repaired. The braid that was added is pretty ugly... It does look solid electrically as I got the same reading on the old lead and the newer piece.
